Centraldev was founded in september 2002, after an important economic crisis affected Argentina. The economy recovered very quickly thanks to the vision of lots of argentinean entrepreneurs who knew how to put their creativity to work. Industries that were closed over the last decade opened again and lots more were created in this new favorable econocmic scenario..
We founded Centraldev with the idea to provide high quality web design and programming services. We always wanted to be one step ahead of our competitors by providing a more professional and responsible service.
Our company was founded by a couple: Marcelo Ruiz and Carola Kessler, who work together with a group of freelance partners in the areas of graphic/ web design and programming.

Marcelo started studying electronics engineering and then switched to systems engineering at Universidad Tecnológica Nacional (UTN) but he acquired most of his current skills by himself. He is a an experienced software developer in different languages like PHP, C# and he is currently learning Ruby on Rails. He is a fan of the latest Microsoft .NET techlogies but he also believes in the power of open source code. He is specialized in web applications, desktop applications, databases, web services and usability. Marcelo enjoys working in projects where he can apply all his creativity in the resolution of the end users’ problems in the best and simplest way. Marcelo is also the author of the books Programación Web Avanzada, Programación en C and Diseño Web, with Carola. Marcelo has been recently recognized as a Microsoft Active Professional.

Carola has a degree in Edition from University of Buenos Aires (UBA) and he is also currently teaching at that institution. She has more than 10 years of experience teaching technology subjects at university. She has worked in publications companies both as a designer and as an editor in chief, what it has given her experience, wisdom and sense of quality for the production and edition of content in both printed and digital media. She is currently in charge of all the creative process in our projects in Centraldev. Her mission is to assure that our products are easy to use and according to the needs of the end user and, above all, free of errors. Carola is also the author of the books Flash 5 and Diseño Web, with Marcelo. |
